What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a type of holistic approach that focuses primarily on treating the muscular, skeletal, and nervous systems. The type of treatment used is called an "adjustment" and is traditionally performed using the chiropractors' hands. What the adjustment does is that it introduces motion into the joints that allows for movement and decreases interference of the nerves caused by misalignments of the spine.

By decreasing interference of the nerves, the body is able to function better and with less pain, if present.

Meet the Doctor
Dr. Denise Arambula, DC
Dr. Denise Arambula was born and raised in surrounding towns within the Fresno County, California. When she graduated from high school she knew she wanted a career in healthcare, so upon enrolling at UC Merced she made sure to sign up for a major that was going to prepare her for her career. In May of 2011, she graduated with a B.S. in Biological Science with an emphasis in Human Biology. In 2012, she made one of the biggest decisions of her life when she enrolled at Palmer College of Chiropractic-West located in San Jose, CA and graduated with her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in December 2015. When she graduated, she decided to leave the arid hot summers of the Central Valley and relocate to the breezy and much cooler weather of Ventura County. She fell in love with the area and decided to put down roots when she opened Serendipity Chiropractic in September of 2017. During her free time, Dr. Denise loves to explore the great things her new home has to offer such as hiking, going to the beach and doing yoga, or walking her dog, Boris, along trails and bike paths.
New Patients
In order to recieve the best possible care, it is essential to get a detailed description of the patient's symptoms. This allows the doctor to better diagnose the patient and therefore, provide the best possible treatment for them. In order to save time, the patient has the option of printing the form from the website and bringing it into the office already filled out. Once the form is filled out, the doctor will sit with the patient and go through the form for any possible clarification and review with them the informed consent. Once all the forms are signed, the doctor will proceed to peform an exam on the patient. If the doctor finds it safe to treat the patient given her the history and exam findings, she will adjust the patient on the same day.
